On Saturday night Brian and I went to the DC United Season Opener at RFK Stadium. Robert, Shane, and Cecelia were going to spend the night at Kara's. We had to drop the dog off at my moms so she could babysit her for the night. She lives with my brother and sister in law so the kids got to play with their cousins. Robert decided when it was time to go that he wanted to spend the night with his cousin Drake. So Mason spoke up and said he wanted to take Roberts place and stay at Kara's. We essentially swapped kids for the night. So Kara had Shane, Mason and Cecelia. Shane was asked if he wanted to stay at Trav and Shawnie's as well but he explained that he would decline because this was supposed to be "my time with yaya". So wise. This was Mason's first sleep over and he did great! We were all so proud of him.
Yaya ran them around her front yard for about 45 minutes! They played football and ran wind sprints! Great way to get the kids worn out! They were dead asleep by 8:30.
Miss Cecelia Jane being the spectator! I am sure she will be a great cheer leader. Doesn't she look so excited?
After a full evening of running Kara gave them a healthy dinner of lunchables!
Which Cece eats the cookies first!
After that filling and scrumptious dinner she gave the boys a shower. I guess Cecelia decided to get in with her clothes on.
All in all.... I think they had a great night at Yaya's. I must say Brian and I had a great night out as well (no kids!!!)! I will try to get those pictures up this weekend!
